So yeah, I realize now that I really don't post that much on this thing. Well I never really post, lets be honest. But I would like to. I just forget.
That happens so easily though when I actually have access to my photos and such. The weekends are packed with other more important things that I am actually doing. I rarely have time to just sit. But I want to change. So hopefully as I get settled in my new situation I will be able to focus more and get back to book making and life journaling.
But until then... seeing as I am at work waiting for the last 2.5 hours to pass I will ramble a bit...
+ I love my new house! I just want to let everyone know (the 2 people who read this) that I absolutely love living back in town and surprisingly, with my family. We all thought that it would be hard to do but it's turning out to be really freaking sweet!! Cheap rent, great roommates that I already know and love, time together as family, lots of laughs, and the feeling of home. Hopefully I am not the only one that feels this way and my parents are happy too... I know they are :)
+ I have the best friends in the world. I just do. We don't have to talk for months, sometimes longer, and as soon as we're together its like we've never been apart. I love that about them. We will always be friends. And I know, for sure, that they will always be there for me. And I for them.
+ Does anyone else love there job?? Cause I do. A lot. I might be a weirdo, but it's true. It doesn't get any better. Seriously.
+ I had an awkward moment with a renowned surgeon the other day. I said something totally valley-girl-like and then wanted to kill myself for the stupidity of it. Don't you just love when your brain forgets its normal processes and you end up sounding as if you are 14?? Cause I sure don't.
+ You know when you meet new people there is that time period where you have to introduce yourself and get to know each other and in most cases try to out-do/one up the other person with the factors of your life? i.e. your job, your husbands job, your education, his education, your house, cars, crap, crap, crap, blah, blah, blah... I HATE THAT!!
From now on I want to make my life sound as completely boring and shitty as possible. Just so I am not a participant in that game. Effing posers.
+ I love online quizzes and questionnaires. Filling them out is so fun that whenever I see one on anyone else's blog that I almost immediately steal it and fill it out myself. I don't know if that makes me self-absorbed or if I just like looking at my life and myself in a new way. Who knows... but I do like them and if you have any of that kind of thing just send it my way and I'll fill it out.
+ Dark hair (on me) is the bees knees.
+ I have become obsessed again with Cafe Rio. When this lovely mexican grill came to St George I had to eat there at least once a week but then it became old and not my favorite. Well call it a comeback cause I freaking LOVE it. The last chicken salad I had was one of the best. Guess I know what's for dinner.
+ Is anyone else excited for Eclipse?? Cause I am. But not for the movie. H no. We girls are once again going down to LV for the annual DeMille Twilight Experience!! So much fun!! This year we are staying at the MGM and having a two day mini-break. Dinner with everyone, shopping, laying by the pool, getting a tan, shopping some more, probably eating some more, and then the movie. Blah. I always laugh at Kristen Stewart and her eye tourrettes. Seriously the bitch blinks way too much. S'all I'm saying.
