Rush

I was the luckiest girl this year!! For my birthday I got to see RUSH live in concert!! If you don't know who Rush is... we probably shouldn't be friends... just saying. They are one of the greatest rock bands ever and I have been a fan forever! I remember listening to Moving Pictures back in Elementary and knowing the song Tom Sawyer by heart.

So I was more than excited when I heard that they were playing the entire Moving Pictures album in their Time Machine Tour. I just had to go!!

We took the little trip down to (hotter than the surface of the sun) Vegas after work on Friday and first stopped for dinner at the Yard House. So good!!

Even though I don't drink beer, I love bars... I don't know why I just do :) Something about just chilling with your friends and watching football while eating and having a cold one (diet coke) is just the bee's knee's.

Kerby is such a good sport.

He doesn't really get concerts (his thoughts: why pay to listen to a cd??) and so wasn't that excited to go... but little did he know.

We stopped to see the lions at MGM for the first time ever... I know!! I've been there like fifteen times and never stopped to look at the Simba's and Nala's.

What an idiot...

But then it was time!
