> I have been LOVING the rain and stormy weather that we have been having lately. Even with all that has fallen we still need more; there is still a drought. I just love the sky when it rains, the smell it brings, the way everything looks when it is wet, and it always reminds me of this:
I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain,
And ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.
I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain,
I want to be the best I can and live with God again.
> Friday night at 7:30 is honestly the best time of the week for me. Walking down the radiology hall to leave knowing that I have 4 whole days with my family and friends to spend however I want is a great feeling. It is not that I hate my job or anything, far from it, I just am so grateful that my life is how it is and that every Friday night I am starting a mini-vacation.
> My Primary calling. I know that I complain most of the time about it but I truly do love Primary. I love learning and teaching the gospel in its simplest form; attend church, say your prays, pay your tithing, be kind to others, honesty, read your scriptures, love for your family and friends, faith... the basics. It helps to remind me that it really is so simple and that if you just do what is right the Lord will bless and guide you.
> Awesome friends who are definately more intelligent than you, who give great advice and assistance.
> The relationships that I have with each of my family members. I am the luckiest girl because I truly have the greatest family in the world and I know that we will be like this (crazy and always having fun) forever.
> Girls trips to Las Vegas. Whenever my mom (nugs), sister (little red), sister-in-law (the hotness), and me (lame-o) get together it is always fun times. Can't wait for this weekend.
> Nothing fights with my husband. They're not what you think they are. For example:
Radio stations are one topic that we disagree on constantly. Kerby insists on listening to NPR (talk radio) because he was mistakenly born in the 80's and not the 40's. I insist on listening to actual music...
One day as we were driving around town Kerby hurridly changes the channel to his favorite old-timey station and exclaims, "My favorite show is coming on!"
I quickly reply with a "No! I want to listen to music. Not people talking."
Kerby responds, "Carol Off and Barbara Budd are on and I am not missing it."
"No Kerby, it drives m-"
"LISTEN TO CAROL!!!"
His facial expression, the way he yelled, and his hand pointed directly to the dial on the radio was probably one of the funniest things he has yet to do. We died laughing as we drove on Turtle Road and I honestly couldn't have loved him more.
> That this year has started out great. Kerby and I have accomplished things that we had set out to do this year and this momentum is keeping us on track to completing more. It is such a great feeling to be making progress.
> Camping season is quickly approaching and I can't wait!! First trip that starts it all off is Easter weekend with the Mackelprangs and Millers. This year is going to be great, as always, but it feels like we haven't been out in forever so I am really looking forward to it. Hanging with the fam, campfires, four-wheelers, Grandma Linda's macaroni salad in the biggest piece of tupperware you have ever seen (it doesn't fit in anyones cooler... so it has its own but the cooler still won't close), sleeping in a cot like the dead, etc., etc., etc.
> April 27th is coming quickly. It will be here before I know it!!!
