Blogging...

I was sick of blogs for a while... Like I really didn't even care about it anymore. But boring days at work and access to a limited number of sites on the internet leads to blog stalking and finally getting inspired to actually do something with this little project of mine.

Kerby and I have been doing lots of stuff these last few months but I have completely given up on my camera all together so therefore the lack of posts and pictures. IT SUCKS!!! I just have to wait for the necessary funds to supply my need for a super sweet camera. I will not settle for a standard crappy digital camera, being inspired and all. I am currently researching cameras and hope to find one that suits me.
NO - I do not plan on portraying myself as a photographer (as so many others have)
I only in fact want to able to take pictures of my family and friends that aren't blurry. I will, however, admit that:
YES - I want to learn how to use photoshop (as so many others have)
I know that photoshop...ing images till they aren't even real anymore isn't cool but I also know that photoshop...ing a little goes along way and many times, if done right, simple pictures can become art. Which, to me, is really sweet. But it will be some time till I am able to get a camera and a photoshop capable computer.

So be that as it may, I have been looking at all types of blogs (instead of posting) to ease my boredom at Mesa View and I have found that there is a general theme that most seem to portray and I hope that it is not found as the center of mine.

Everyone tries to make there lives look extremely perfect!!

There I said it! Its seriously amazing to me that people are so fake. I have only found a handful of people that actually are real people in the blog world. I sit in astonishment, first of all, how much people post, and second of all, how posting about NOTHING can seem so fantastical. I try and think of things that I do in my daily life that are somewhat entertaining but I have yet to find that going to Costco, Wal-Mart, the bank and to work fascinating. I just live my life. I don't need to be portrayed as anything but myself:

• I like to sit at home most Sundays after church and read for like 8 hours while Kerby plays Call of Duty, we're absolutely the most boring people EVER
• I don't clean the dishes in the sink till its absolutely necessary because they smell, then I make Kerby do it
• I HATE where I live and can't wait to get the HELL out!
• I have NO MONEY but I don't live outside my means. I drive a Chevy Cavalier that shakes as I drive down the freeway and I couldn't be more grateful
• I have four days off per week and yet I still have TO DO LISTS
• I don't want to have a kid for at least 2 more years and I am sick of being asked about it
• I didn't even buy my parents a card on their birthday. How lame....
• I am and will always be a NERD. I like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, X-Men, etc. etc.

So there, take that all you super perfect people. I guess that is what I blog about, how NORMAL my life is. But I do have to say that everyones fabulous lives keep me pretty entertained.
